Love on the Spectrum and Strong Female Lead have been nominated at the prestigious 60th annual Rose d’Or Awards.

Northern Pictures have been nominated for four awards at this year’s AACTA Awards: Strong Female Lead – Best Documentary; Love on the Spectrum (Season 2) – Best Factual Entertainment Program; Love on the Spectrum (Season 2) – Best Direction in Nonfiction Television (Cian O’Clery); and Hardball (Season 2) – Best Children’s Program.

Strong Female Lead is in competition for the Documentary Australia Foundation (DAF) Award for Australian Documentary at this year’s Sydney Film Festival.

SBS has selected Northern Pictures’ Strong Female Lead as part of its Australia Uncovered partnership with the Documentary Australia Foundation (DAF). Australia Uncovered is a new strand of one-off docs for the broadcaster, with a focus on uncovering unique stories of contemporary Australia, due to air in 2021.
